The Prairie Baseball Academy (PBA) holds an annual event, the Marathon Game, at Lloyd Nolan Yard. This 100-inning baseball game, a tradition since the academy's inception, is played at the end of fall to fundraise for the program. Notably, players dress in Halloween costumes, adding a fun twist to the event, with grocery gift card prizes for the best outfits. Family members and friends attend this all-day event to enjoy the festive atmosphere, fun costumes, and full-day of baseball.

Fundraising is done primarily through players soliciting donations from family and friends via letters and pledge forms. These funds are crucial for offsetting increasing travel expenses for the team's trips and supporting the academy as a whole. The PBA coaching staff expresses immense gratitude to all donors for their support, which is essential for the program's continued success and sustainability.
