The PBA JV Dawgs faced a tough opponent over the weekend as they competed against the Miles City CC Pioneers:
Saturday, March 16
Game 1: Lost 10-0
Game 2: Lost 12-4
Errors got the best of the JV Dawgs on Saturday, but they had good swings from Parker McBurnie and Jackson Lascelle during these games.
Sunday, March 17
Game 1: Won 8-6
Game 2: Lost 14-2
The JV Dawgs had a strong start from Matthew Wright and Josh McNeil coming in relief to finish it off in the first game on Sunday, with the game starting with a lead off home run from Parker McBurnie in the first inning. The JV Dawgs fell to the Pioneers in the final game to wrap up the weekend.
The JV Dawgs will play again this weekend in Lethbridge on March 23rd against Okotoks Black as they prepare for the Prairie Showcase Classic on April 25-28th in Lethbridge.
